Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I am an Advanced Master Beekeeper in The Texas Master Beekeeper Program; my focus is beekeeping education. I am also the vice president of our county bee club, the Northeast Texas Beekeepers Association, and a past director and event coordinator of the Texas Beekeepers Association.
I have a passion for beekeeping, and my favorite place to be is in my apiaries. When I'm not out inspecting my hives, I'm continuing my education through research and beekeeping volunteer opportunities. Beekeeping is multidimensional and requires flexibility through management, research, education, and experience. I love that beekeeping brings me closer to nature.
My husband, Ken, has graciously joined in with my hobby and has become a wonderful mentor to beginner beekeepers.
